Works in Oil
The viscosity of oil paint replicates texture in way that no medium can match. I am drawn to the saturation of color and the smooth transitions from one part of the painting surface to the next.
Granted the medium is messy and can be toxic but the color is so glorious that I am compelled to use it when other painting mediums would be a sad second place.
